MY GUEST POEM
Fear
It is said that before entering the sea
a river trembles with fear.
She looks back at the path she has traveled,
from the peaks of the mountains,
the long winding road crossing forests and villages.
And in front of her,
she sees an ocean so vast,
that to enter
there seems nothing more than to disappear forever.
But there is no other way.
The river can not go back.
Nobody can go back.
To go back is impossible in existence.
The river needs to take the risk
of entering the ocean
because only then will fear disappear,
because that’s where the river will know
it’s not about disappearing into the ocean,
but of becoming the ocean.

MY POEM OF THE MONTH
Here I Am
Yes, here I am
In my 1955 model body
Sipping hot toddy
But on the inside nothing has changed
It’s all on the outside.
And there I go
Like the old man in a song
Shuffling along
Sure, inside, nothing has changed
But, oh, the outside.
The years have passed
One by one
69 have gone
In less than the blink of an eye
But the changes you can see, tell a lie.

Newly Arrived
Oh No!
And we wonder, if all of this is meant?
If our future is based on how our time has went?
If we were kind to bees?
If we prayed upon our knees?
If we followed his 10 rules?
If we tolerated fools?
And we wonder, if all of this was heaven sent?
To measure our commitment, and how our lives were spent?
Oh no,
Oh no,
Oh no oh no oh no.
