STEVE EVANS poetically speaking
About
As a teenager in the late 60's and early 70's I, like many others at that time, dreamt of playing on stage in a band. Unfortunately, an almost complete lack of musical ability proved to be an unsurmountable obstacle. I did however, pen a couple of songs and poems as a result and got to like the idea of putting ideas down on paper.
I continued to do this sporadically for the rest of my life and more recently it's become a little bit of an obsession leading to the creation of this web site.
This is one such poem from way back then:
On Dampened Grass
A frantic embrace
On a misty hill
On dampened grass
The wind stood still
Imprints pressed on her
Slippy sides
On dampened grass
(whispers)
A teardrop hides.

What does anyone know ~ that isn't there just for show? (10w)
